A highly regarded and anticipated event in the UK’s film calendar, London Film Week has grown greatly in visibility and significance in recent years because of its bold concept: a hybrid film festival only showing a limited amount of films. All the films are UK Premieres or Preview screenings. The Festival also presents industry meetings, workshops, concerts, and a focus/retrospective on a filmmaker or country. LFW aims to become one of Europe’s top audience-focused film festivals, continuing to build a reputation for an international programme of the world’s best films (both in-person and online) alongside a strong industry offer.
The 9th edition of LFW will be held from 2 to 6 December 2026 in the heart of London, with Gala screenings taking place at central venues and industry events hosted across selected locations throughout the city.
